Governor will Prioritize Education Quality Improvement

Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan affirmed will be prioritizing education quality improvement as one of his work programs. It is mentioned when visiting SDN Cawang 07 and 08 Pagi on Kramat Jati with Vice Governor, Sandiaga Uno, Wednesday (10/18). 

We will improve it and ensure children in first grade (SD) could finish until 12th grade

"One of our priority programs is to improve education quality, including education access for everyone," he said.

He explained, things that should be improved are students enrollment rate (APM) from elementary school (SD) to high school (SLTA) level. Current APM at SD level is around 97 percent, junior high school (SMP) 87 percent, and SLTA 59 percent.

"We will improve it and ensure children in first grade (SD) to finish until 12th grade," he affirmed.

He conveyed, KJP Plus will be realized soon to ensure children can have education in school. Including to ensure repair on infrastructure could be done gradually.
